Packaging of products has undergone a significant shift in perspective in the last few years. It has come a long way from just being used protect a product from damage during transit. Packaging plays a pivotal role in the marketing of a product. It is the unspoken spokesperson of a product and the company manufacturing and selling it.

Abhishek Enterprises ventured into providing injection moulded packaging products to its customers. These included allen key boxes, spanner racks and end caps to various auto components manufacturers. From this, was a born the idea of providing complete end to end packaging solutions – from concept to commissioning.

Keeping this goal in mind, a host packaging processes were added to the injection moulding set up. A brainchild of a team of engineers headed by Anil Deshpande and Anil Mirashi, the company has since diversified into blister packaging, high frequency PVC welding and the extremely high tech Extruded HIPS pipes manufacturing. Thus, a complete packaging solution was evolved.

We design customized packaging for your products. What sets us apart is our strong R&D base, our own in house tool room, for dies and moulds. This ensures that the responsibility of quality, right from the conceptualization, to design and manufacture rests internally, solely with us.

Packaging, for us, is more than the outer protective layer of your product. It is the carefully designed process of making sure your product is safe, tamper proof, aesthetically pleasing and cost effective. The importance of packaging is universal, and spans across industries and sectors. Abhishek Enterprises currently provides packaging solutions to pharma, food, auto components and engineering sectors.

Apart from plastics, the group forayed into metals in 2002 and is the largest screwdriver and tester manufacturer in the region. Later additions have included exports of various plastic and metal hand tools to USA and UAE.

Given our 27 years experience in the field, in 2012 we proudly introduced our own brand of hand tools to the market – “Anil tool”. Our brand embodies our values of quality and affordability.

With a young team of engineers and management graduates, the business is growing keeping in mind the values with which it was set up. Customer requirement is of primary importance. OUR USP

Our strength lies in our strong back end and our in-house design and development team. We use the latest soft wares for all our designs. To facilitate our customers further will provide quick 3D samples for fitment trials and approvals in the near future.

We are currently in the process of ordering a VMC machine so that we can provide quick samples to our customers for fitment trials and approvals.

Director

Anil Deshpande

Anil Deshpande graduated with a Bachelor’s in Engineering in mechanical engineering from VJTI, Mumbai in 1980, followed by a diploma in Marketing Management from Pune University.

He worked with Tata Motors for two years after graduation. He joined Daimler Mercedes (Oman) in 1981. In 1988, he returned to Indian and together with Anil Mirashi started Abhishek Engineering Works, the first manufacturing set-up of Abhishek Group, making injection molded products. He is the guiding force behind the marketing strategy of the company.

Anil Mirashi

Anil Mirashi graduated with a Bachelor’s in Engineering in mechanical engineering from COEP, Pune in 1981 and a diploma in Business Management from Symbiosis. Thereafter, he joined Kirloskar Cummins as a trainee engineer and worked there for 8 years. In 1988 he went to Aurangabad, to start his own entrepreneurial start up and met Anil Deshpande.

Their passion of design and engineering led to the creation of Abhishek Enterprises. Together, they started the first unit. Slowly, they specialized in catering to the packaging requirements of the customer and added one manufacturing process after another. He is the technical genius and guiding force behind the manufacturing and systems team in the company.
